Bringing over 19 years of dedicated service to Wattrus Group, Gary Bodfish is a Senior Project Manager renowned for his extensive expertise in steering projects across diverse sectors. With a career in the construction industry dating back to 1980, Gary has honed his skills in strategic project management teams at industry giants such as Land Rover, BMW, and JLR.
Notably, Gary played a pivotal role in the accredited team at Rover Group, where he contributed to the successful delivery of the innovative ‘G-Dec’ project. This groundbreaking initiative involved creating an open-plan office for engineers and a versatile design and workshop space for developing prototype models. Gary’s efforts were duly rewarded with national accolades, including the prestigious ‘Office of the Year’ award.
Gary’s proficiency extends to managing projects in the Commercial, Industrial, Health, and Education sectors. His vast experience equips him with a keen understanding of the pressures involved in planning and delivering projects promptly while navigating commercial constraints. What drives Gary is the fulfilment derived from assisting clients throughout the entire project lifecycle, from inception to seamless implementation.
As a key member of the Wattrus Group team, Gary Bodfish embodies our commitment to excellence in project management. His wealth of experience and client-centric approach make him an invaluable asset, ensuring the success of projects across various sectors. Outside of work Gary has a grown-up family and enjoys fell walking and once a year still puts on his ski boots, but not quite a Franz Klammer these days as the knees aren’t quite what they used to be.
